yes, neil - now we ARE sick

I've been avoiding a cold for about a month now. I've neatly sidestepped it and procrastinated on it with a lot of writing and day job stuff and travel and begging. However, it got sneaky today, and is going to win this round. It was waiting for me when I woke up, which is so not fair as I hadn't had my morning tea yet.

I just ate a double-helping of spicy lemongrass and rice noodle soup with garlic. I also found a recipe for ginger chicken noodle soup, which I'm going to put in the slow cooker tomorrow morning to simmer while I'm at work.

I'm also watching Neverwhere while inhaling anything spicy and chicken soupy I can find. For a low-budget BBC mini-series, it's not half-bad. The only disappointment really is the shaggy bull that's supposed to be the Great Beast of London Below. Completely not what I saw in my head when I read the book (I LOVE the book; I'm sure I've mentioned that before). At least the shaggy bull in the sewers is at the end of the series.

I think I've got zinc lozenges somewhere...

I'm sorry your not feeling well Cate. I hope your feeling better today.

My given name is Lorraine or Tilly, but I also go by "C" or Christopher! You can also address me as Chris if you so desire......or not.

Most of my life however, I've been adorned w/the nickname "Wolf" or "Wolfman" in relation to my last name & the fact that I tend to be a biter!

Actually instead of simply Chris, I went w/the C.- Louis is my middle name & Wolfe is an abbrviation (sp?) of my last name. If I ever get published for ANYTHING, I just thought it sounded a bit more literary & spiffy! I'm sure there was a much SIMPLER- is that a word? To explain all that. ;^)

So tell me, have you ever been published? What kind of screenplays have you written? Have you ever collaborated w/another writer?

I've written many partial SP's/outlines for Film & cable idea's, none produced thus far. I continue forward on hopes & dreams, which so far, have not really gotten me very far. Sigh............;-(

I just got over this. Sigh.

But it lead to the Vampire Knight series discovery! So good times!

Hope that you feel better, and we need to have sushi soon!

Forgot to mention- if you like British/BBC type TV stuff, you may enjoy the mini-series Jekyll. Have you seen it? It's pretty interesting how they updated the character.

I like Wolf too! See, we have something important in common. That's cool about your writing! I've written a few kid's books (my maturity level) & I am working on a few others, although I tend to be a lazy writer & have had nothing published as of yet.

I'd like to collaborate w/another genius on a screenplay someday. I know everybody sez this, but I've got some killer stuff!

Hope your feeling better!
